Practically everything regarding the 2026/27 season is still to be decided, but behind the scenes the brands are already working on next season. In Benfica's case, Adidas is already working in the shadows to design what is to come and, according to the portal 'Footy Headlines', the color and inspiration for the 2027/28 alternate kit are already defined.
According to the portal, the Reds' second kit will be white again, based on the one used in 2008/09, a year in which the Eagles had names such as Pablo Aimar, Oscar Cardozo or Ángel di María in their squad. Looking at that season's shirt, even while following the base, there will be some changes, such as the main sponsor (which at the time was Sapo) and also the Adidas logo itself, which on this alternate shirt will be the famous Adidas Trefoil, which is already on this year's alternate kit.
